Welcome to Karibu Games. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Karibu Games (“we”, “us”, “our”) and govern your use of our mobile app and website (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
01. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account, playing as a guest, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
02. Who can use Karibu Games
The Service is intended for a general, family-friendly audience. If you are under 18, you may only use the Service with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with the laws that apply to you.
03. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. Please give accurate information and keep it up to date. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
04. Fair play & acceptable use
Karibu Games is meant to be fun and fair for everyone. You agree not to:
- cheat, use bots, or otherwise manipulate scores, streaks, or leaderboards;
- harass, threaten, or post hateful or unlawful content in any name, room, or message;
- attempt to access, copy, or disrupt the Service or other players’ accounts;
- use the Service for anything unlawful under the laws of Kenya.
05. Coins & in-game items
Coins, badges, and similar in-game items are part of the game only. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be sold or transferred outside the Service. We may adjust, expire, or reset in-game items where reasonably necessary.
06. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its questions, design, logos, and software, belongs to Karibu Games or our licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own enjoyment. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute our content without written permission.
07. Content you provide
You are responsible for the usernames, team names, and any other content you submit. You must have the right to share it, and it must follow these Terms. We may remove content that breaks these Terms or the law.
08. Availability & changes
We work to keep the Service running smoothly, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. We may add, change, or remove features, games, or content at any time to keep improving the experience.
09. Suspension & termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms, harm other players, or are required to be closed by law. Where reasonable, we will let you know.
10. Disclaimers & liability
The Service is provided “as is” for entertainment. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or unexpected losses arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited under Kenyan law.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any dispute relating to the Service will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.
12. Updates to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make important changes, we will give reasonable notice within the Service. Continuing to use Karibu Games after an update means you accept the new Terms.
